Our story

Ashini and Yash

STOMYA was founded by Ashini and Yash, partners in life and in business. Our aim behind STOMYA is not just to create a retail brand like so many out there, but it is to provide clarity to our clients and connect them with brands that have Korean roots.

Besides the constant product launches and the 15-step skincare routines flooding the internet, there was something more concerning: “K-beautification” of brands, the quiet erosion of a culture being packaged and sold without meaning and essence. This felt deceiving.

For us, especially with Yash having skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, we felt the need for change, where finding skincare should not feel exhausting and overwhelming. We felt the need for change to battle consumerism and imitation.
